Missoula, MT
This is a wave they created on the Clark Fork river in Missoula, Montana in memoriam of Brennan Guth.
From the plaque: ”
In loving memory of Brennan Guth
Feb. 10th, 1969 to March 15, 2001
Brennan Guth was a man of great passions. A world class kayaker and local Missoulian who died in Chile while paddling the Rio Palgulo. His philosophy combined a love of the environment with a strong sense of community. The manner in which he lived his life inspired the vision that became “Brennan’s Wave”.
In the end…
It’s not the years in your life that count.
It’s the life your years.
Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)”
These are some kayakers riding Brennan’s Wave.
